Description
A powerful waterproof drag, amazing design, the best materials and precision of workmanship are the features that distinguish the XO series of reels. The brake mechanism has been used for over 20 years on the XLA and XLB models, catching countless huge fish. Now we have used the same solution in the XO and Merisuola families. In the following models, the proven brake mechanism is sealed even better than on its predecessors. The larger reels are designed for heavy use in salmon and saltwater fishing. The braking power is impressive, the maximum power is 15 kilograms. The axle seals of the German company INA were used to improve the tightness of the braking system, and all bearings come from Japan.
The Merisuola 7-8 has the same design and brake system as the XO 7-8, however we have significantly increased the brake power setting.
